China trip planning without the guesswork.
Start with the free city files and practical guides. When the route is almost right and one decision could ruin it, send the brief and let a human read the whole thing.

The guides are the core. The desk is for the decisions a guide cannot make.
- City guides for 17 cities, with honest notes on English, payments and transit.
- Practical guides for visas, Alipay, eSIMs, trains and the first 24 hours.
- Itineraries for 5 to 14 days, with realistic rail times and booking notes.
- Published fees for every planning level, in USD.
Who China trip planning is for.
China trip planning is for the decisions a guide cannot make.
- You have the dates, not the route. China trip planning turns a month and a budget into a city order, a realistic number of nights and a booking sequence.
- You have the route, not the confidence. A second read is cheaper than a non-refundable train that does not connect; start with Route Check.
- You want a human on the ground. Full Trip Desk adds selected third-party coordination and a reachable desk while you travel.
How to choose a China trip planning level.
Pick the decision you need, not the biggest package.
- Route Check. Best when a draft already exists and you want the tight transfers and booking traps found before you pay.
- Custom Itinerary. Best when the route does not exist yet and you want the days, nights and hotel areas built around your pace.
- Full Trip Desk. Best when you want the plan plus selected third-party coordination and a desk you can reach during the trip.
What China trip planning does not include.
The boundaries keep the fee honest.
- Flights, visa decisions, insurance and emergency medical cover are outside China trip planning.
- Supplier rates for hotels, trains, vehicles and guides are quoted separately after availability is checked.
- China trip planning is not a guided tour; you keep control of every reservation.
- Unlimited revisions are not included. Each level has a published scope and a defined number of revisions.
- It does not replace your own judgment. China trip planning gives you a route, the trade-offs and the booking order; you decide what to book and what to leave out. If a suggestion does not fit, say so in the brief; the desk will adjust the plan once, and the final call stays with you. That is why the free guides matter: they give you the context to judge the paid advice. The desk replies within one business day.
The fee, plainly.
One planning fee, agreed before work starts.
- The published fee is the planning fee. It is not a per-person tour price.
- No payment on this site. Scope first, then a secure payment link.
- Supplier services are separate. Trains, hotels, vehicles and guides are quoted after availability is checked.
- If the scope does not fit, we say so. Longer routes become a manual quote.
Before you send.
A useful brief is short.
- Dates, or the month you are aiming for.
- Travelers, ages and any mobility needs.
- Cities you are considering, and the ones you are unsure about.
- Budget per person, excluding flights.
- One thing you really care about: food, hiking, museums, photos or pace.
Questions before you send.
If the answer is not here, ask in the brief.
Is this a tour?
No. China Tailor Made is an independent travel desk, not a tour operator, visa agency or booking marketplace. The free city files and guides are the core; the paid desk reviews routes and builds itineraries.
Do you book flights, hotels or trains?
We give booking links and timing advice. Optional third-party transport, hotels and guides can be coordinated when available; those supplier costs are quoted separately and passed through without a booking markup.
Which planning level should I choose?
Route Check ($49) if you already have a draft. Custom Itinerary ($149) if you want the route built. Full Trip Desk ($349) if you want the plan and selected third-party coordination. Not sure? Choose Not sure yet and we will recommend one.
How fast is the reply?
One business day for the first reply. Route Check takes three business days, Custom Itinerary five and Full Trip Desk seven after the briefing.
When do I pay?
No payment is collected on this site. Scope and fee are agreed first; Route Check is paid before delivery, Custom Itinerary and Full Trip Desk take a 50% deposit with the balance before the final plan.
Can you guarantee a visa or entry?
No. Entry decisions belong to Chinese immigration. We check your route against published rules and flag risks, but you should confirm your own case with the official source before booking.
Is China trip planning worth it?
China trip planning is worth it when one decision could ruin the trip: a train that leaves too early, a city that deserves another night, a timed ticket that sells out. If the route is already sound, the free guides may be enough.
How much does China trip planning cost?
China trip planning starts at $49 for a Route Check, $149 for a Custom Itinerary and $349 for the Full Trip Desk. Fees are flat and published; supplier services are quoted separately.
