What we provide
China Tailor Made provides travel research, route reviews, itinerary planning and limited booking coordination for independent travelers. We are not a tour operator, travel agency, visa agency or insurer. We do not accompany you, employ local guides or operate transport.
Research, not a guarantee
Guides and city files are researched in good faith and checked against sources at the date shown. Entry rules, opening hours, prices, train schedules and payment limits change. We do not guarantee that a page is current, that you will be admitted to China, or that a third-party service will work as described. Always confirm critical rules with the official source before paying for non-refundable travel.
Paid planning services
- Scope: the package, deliverables and fee are confirmed in writing before payment.
- Deposits: Route Check is paid in full before delivery. Custom Itinerary and Full Trip Desk take a 50% deposit, with the balance before final delivery.
- Revisions: Custom Itinerary includes two revisions. Additional changes are quoted separately.
- Booking costs: flights, hotels, trains, tickets and transfers are not included in the planning fee. If we coordinate them, they are billed at cost and remain subject to the provider's terms.
Cancellations and refunds
Before work starts, a deposit is refundable minus payment processing fees. After work starts, the deposit covers time already spent. Route Check is non-refundable once delivered, but we will correct factual errors for free. If we cancel and cannot deliver, you receive a refund for work not performed.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate passport, date and traveler information.
- Check entry eligibility and visa requirements for your own passport.
- Hold valid travel insurance and travel documents.
- Arrive on time for transport and follow local laws.
Third-party services
Hotels, airlines, rail operators, attractions and payment providers are independent third parties. Their terms, cancellation policies and failures are their responsibility. We can help you communicate with them but do not control them.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for a planning service is limited to the fee you paid for that service. We are not liable for missed transport, denied entry, weather, illness, loss of belongings or third-party failures. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Intellectual property
The site's text, structure and original materials belong to China Tailor Made. You may use a purchased itinerary for your own trip. You may not resell or republish it without permission. Short quotations with a link are welcome.
