Who runs this site

What we collect
- Newsletter: your email address, the page you signed up from, the date, and a hashed IP address for spam prevention.
- Trip brief: your name, email, optional WhatsApp number, travel dates, traveler count, cities, budget, package interest, message and consent. We also store a hashed IP address and the time of submission.
- Technical logs: our hosting provider processes standard request data (IP, user agent, request path) to run and protect the site.
Why we collect it
- To reply to your trip brief and provide the planning service you asked for.
- To send the newsletter if you subscribed. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
- To prevent spam, abuse and duplicate submissions.
Where it is stored
Newsletter and trip brief data are stored in Cloudflare D1, our database provider. Inquiry notifications are sent by email through Cloudflare's email service to our inbox. We do not run our own servers.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with service providers needed to run the site (Cloudflare for hosting, database and email) and, if you ask us to coordinate a booking, with the relevant booking provider. We may disclose data if required by law.
Cookies and embeds
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies by default. Cloudflare may set security cookies. The site embeds Google Maps; Google may set cookies or collect usage data when the map loads. If we add analytics, this page will name the provider and the data collected.
How long we keep it
Trip briefs are kept for up to 24 months so we can answer follow-up questions, then deleted or anonymised. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Abuse-prevention logs are kept for a shorter period.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy, correction or deletion of your data by emailing hello@chinatailormade.com. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. If you are in a jurisdiction with additional rights, tell us and we will work through the request.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, email newsletter subscribers.
